Thank you for being born safely. We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us throughout this journey.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">Per <a class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-inherit MuiLink-root MuiLink-underlineAlways MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__ui__link__medium_strong css-lu48cp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/06\/20\/shohei-ohtani-wife-gives-birth\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">TMZ Sports<\/a>, Ohtani and Tanaka had their first child together\u2014a daughter\u2014in April 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">The gender and name of the couple&#8217;s newborn child was not revealed as part of their announcement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">On Friday, the Dodgers announced that Ohtani was away from the team after being placed on the paternity list.
