{"id":752858,"date":"2026-06-22T03:46:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-22T03:46:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/752858\/"},"modified":"2026-06-22T03:46:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-22T03:46:09","slug":"scarborough-plaza-stabbing-male-outstanding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/752858\/","title":{"rendered":"Scarborough plaza stabbing: Male outstanding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">A male suspect is at-large after a man in his 30s was stabbed in Scarborough late Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The incident happened near Al Baaqi Supermarket at 678 Kennedy Rd., south of Eglinton Avenue East.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Toronto police said they were called to that area at around 5:10 p.m. for reports of a stabbing at a commercial plaza.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">There, officers found a male victim who had been stabbed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">His injuries are being described as non-life-threatening.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/IYE6OOOD7VC6DDHMUZPTEAI6MA.jpeg\"  width=\"800\" height=\"450\"\/>Scarborough plaza stabbing June 21 A male suspect is at-large after a man in his 30s was stabbed near Al Baaqi Supermarket at 678 Kennedy Rd. in Scarborough on June 21. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The suspect, meanwhile, fled prior to police arrival, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">He is a described as having long hair and wearing black pants and a grey\/black hoodie, and carrying a blue\/black duffle bag.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">There is a large police presence in the area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">This investigation is ongoing and anyone with further information is asked to contact Toronto police at 416-808-4100 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">More details to come.
