The Flyers and Ottawa Senators have had reported mutual interest recently, with the Flyers focused on Centers:<\/p>\n

The Flyers have interest in Ottawa Centers Shane Pinto (top target), Dylan Cozens, and Ridly Greig . This aligns with Philly\u2019s need for top-6 Center depth.
\nOttawa has shown past interest in Flyers assets like defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen, and potentially forward Owen Tippett or Tyson Foerster. A deal could involve swapping a Center for a D or other pieces.<\/p>\n

These are rumors\/interest level right now\u2014not \u201cIn the works\u201d trades. The Tkachuk deal gives Ottawa more flexibility (extra picks, cap room, and a shift toward retooling around players like Tim St\u00fctzle), which could accelerate talks.<\/p>\n

Bottom line<\/p>\n

Tkachuk is off the board and headed to Florida. Keep an eye on Center-focused rumors between Philly and Ottawa in the coming days\/weeks of the offseason\u2014they\u2019re the most relevant ongoing link.<\/p>\n

Remember, the Flyers do not own a top 10 pick like the Florida Panthers did, so they will have to give up more assets, like possibly parting with one of Matvei Michkov or Porter Martone. In addition, the league Is being handcuffed by five or six teams with no state tax, and players forcing their way onto said teams, via a no trade list. <\/p>\n
