A local photographer\u2019s work is being showcased at the Pembroke Mall, and he says he\u2019s received many positive comments about the exhibition.<\/p>\n

The works of Dennis Corrigan, originally from Barry\u2019s Bay, are on display at the mall right now to celebrate the mall\u2019s 55th anniversary.<\/p>\n

The exhibit features pictures Corrigan took at various concerts over the course of his life, showing a wide variety of performers on stage. He says it combines his two passions of music and photography.<\/p>\n

According to Corrigan, he\u2019s been bringing cameras to concerts and taking photos for many, many years \u2013 including a time before digital cameras, when he used a 35mm Pentax film shooter.<\/p>\n

Corrigan says his first concert was 55 years ago too, making this something of an anniversary for himself as well.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard to pick a favourite, but Corrigan\u2019s love for music started with the Beatles, so some pictures he took at a Paul McCartney show remain close to his heart.<\/p>\n

The display will remain up at the mall until the end of June. Corrigan says all of the photos are available for sale for $225 each for anyone interested in buying one for their home.<\/p>\n
