\nLITTLE ROCK, Ark. \u2013 Little Rock travels to in-state rival Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Sunday at noon. The Trojans will try to extend their 12-game winning streak against the Golden Lions.<\/p>\n
The game will be streamed as well as have live updates on social media.<\/p>\n
Little Rock and UAPB have met every year since 2009, with the Trojans winning 14 of 15 games. The Golden Lions’ only victory came in 2010.<\/p>\n
The Trojans are averaging 4.18 goals per game, with their largest margin of victory a 9-0 win in the first meeting in 2009. Little Rock’s defense has been dominant, posting six straight shutouts. The Trojans have not allowed a goal since 2016 and have given up just five goals in the series.<\/p>\n
“I think every game presents its own set of challenges but going into Sunday we have a lot to focus on on both sides of the ball. I’m hoping we can create lots of chances and be a bit more opportunistic and clinical in the final third. It will be a good test for us defensively as well to work out some things from our last match,” said Head Coach Kelly Farrell<\/a>.<\/p>\n Little Rock will try to rebound after a loss at East Texas A&M.
