MISSION \u2013 The first golfers to tee-off had to deal with a light early morning rain in round two of the 2025 Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic. American Sabrina Iqbal played most of her round in the wet conditions but noted the greens didn\u2019t seem too affected as she shot 6-under-par to take a share of the tournament lead at 11-under. She\u2019s joined at the top by Minji Kang of South Korea who shot 65 on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Julia Gregg who tied a tournament record yesterday shot even to stay at 10-under, good enough to stay tied with Laney Frye and Erika Hara for second.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe greens were very skippy, I thought they would hold a little better,\u201d said Gregg.<\/p>\n
Kennewick native Therese Warner is having a good showing, sitting at 4-under-par which ties her for 34th place. Another golfer with local ties, Selanee Henderson Pendleton, did not fare so well with her tournament coming to a premature end after missing the cut.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was fun to have the opportunity to come back out and play,\u201d said Henderson Pendleton after today\u2019s round.<\/p>\n
Sunday is shaping up to be a competitive final round for the 2025 Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic, with eight players within three strokes of the lead. Tickets are still on sale, and Wildhorse Resort & Casino Club Wild members can receive free admission by visiting the club\u2019s desk this weekend. Children 15 and under are admitted free when accompanied by a ticketed adult.<\/p>\n
