Peel Regional Police are appealing for witnesses and surveillance footage as they investigate a shooting that occurred in a Brampton residential neighbourhood last week.<\/p>\n
Investigators say officers were called to Chamney Court shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 19, following reports of gunfire.<\/p>\n
According to police, a verbal altercation involving several individuals took place before shots were fired. No information about injuries has been released.<\/p>\n
The investigation is being led by the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau.<\/p>\n
Police said the incident is believed to have been targeted and isolated, but residents in the area are being urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.<\/p>\n
Investigators are asking anyone who was in the area at the time of the shooting to review dashcam or security camera footage that may assist the investigation.<\/p>\n
No suspect information has been released and no arrests have been announced.<\/p>\n
