\n\tIt\u2019s feminine intuition, because Olivia Rodrigo <\/a>always had a vision of putting together her own all-women festival \u2014 a dream that will become a reality this August with powerhouses such as Chappell Roan, Doechii and KATSEYE on the bill.<\/p>\n

\n\tAnd in a Tuesday (June 23) interview with Good Morning America <\/a>about her inaugural Daisy Chain Fields exhibit, the star shared some of her inspirations as well as teased a possible duet with another iconic artist on the lineup: Stevie Nicks. \u201cWhen I pictured this festival, I had an image in my head of girls sitting underneath a tree, like, making little daisy chains or flower crowns or friendship bracelets,\u201d she told Diane Sawyer of how she chose the event\u2019s name. \u201cI also just like the idea of a daisy chain, how we can all be individual links in this chain that is larger than the individual.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tShe also gave flowers to Lilith Fair, the groundbreaking all-women festival founded by Sarah McLachlan in the 1990s. \u201cActually the first person that I called when I decided that I wanted to do this festival was Sarah McLachlan,\u201d Rodrigo revealed. \u201cShe\u2019s a total trailblazer and an incredible artist and friend.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe former Disney star announced Monday (June 22) that she was launching her own festival, all the proceeds of which will go to charities supporting women and girls and reproductive freedom. Taking place Aug. 29 in Irvine, Calif., Daisy Chain Fields will also feature Bikini Kill, Die Spitz, Eli, Garbage, Mitski, Not for Radio, Quiet Life, Rachel Chinouriri, Stantigold and the Breeders.<\/p>\n

\n\tKaren O and McLachlan are billed as \u201cspecial guests,\u201d as is the Fleetwood Mac frontwoman. When Sawyer shared her own vision of Rodrigo singing \u201cLandslide\u201d with Nicks, the Gen Z star said with a smile: \u201cWe might make that happen for you, Diane. We\u2019ll see. Can\u2019t give too much away.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tNews of Daisy Chain Fields comes shortly after the release of Rodrigo\u2019s third studio album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love. Led by Billboard Hot 100<\/a>-topping single \u201cDrop Dead,\u201d the project recently debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200<\/a> with 485,000 equivalent album units earned \u2014 the biggest opening week of Rodrigo\u2019s career to date.<\/p>\n
