Amazon kicks off Prime Day with discounts up to 50% on smartphones. We picked out the best offers and organized them into categories. This will be a 4-day shopping event, though the offers are subject to stocks lasting.<\/p>\n

Below are some of the top flagships of 2026 with some serious discounts, e.g. the Galaxy S26 Ultra is 34% off. Note that Amazon is also offering the 2025 versions of some models, we\u2019ve grouped them for direct comparison.<\/p>\n

Motorola recently launched the Razr Fold, its first book-style foldable. Even with a 15% discount, it\u2019s still pretty pricey \u2013 it costs more than Google\u2019s Pixel 10 Pro Fold.<\/p>\n

Also, there are a couple of affordable flips \u2013 one from Motorola again (Razr 70) and one from Samsung (Galaxy Z Flip7 FE).<\/p>\n

This is the biggest category \u2013 there are some capable models using powerful chips like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (OnePlus 15R), Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (Poco F7) and Dimensity 9500s (Poco X8 Pro Max). Mid-range doesn\u2019t mean slow!<\/p>\n

And it doesn\u2019t mean bad cameras either \u2013 some models here have 200MP sensors (Realme 16 Pro+, vivo V70 FE, Redmi Note 15 Pro), others have 50MP 3x\/73mm periscopes (vivo V70).<\/p>\n

Entry level<\/p>\n

Entry level phones can be decently capable, though there are a few things to look out for. First, only the first three phones here have 5G connectivity. 4G is still viable, but it\u2019s worth keeping in mind that for a bit more you can have 5G. Also, some models here have only 4GB of RAM, which is quite limiting.<\/p>\n
