And she\u2019s missing.<\/p>\n

The search for Gracie, a giraffe who disappeared from the Texas ranch where she is one of two such animals, is expected to continue this week after a tip failed to help track her down Tuesday, the property\u2019s manager said in an interview.<\/p>\n

Gracie\u2019s owner is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to her capture and safe return, officials in Real County said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She was last seen on a game camera west of Leakey, roughly 100 miles northwest of San Antonio, according to the officials.<\/p>\n

Vick Jones, manager of Cedar Hollow Ranch, said Gracie is 3 or 4 years old and has been at the property since May. The ranch is home to a couple of hundred animals, including impalas, Nubian ibexes and an antelope found in Central Africa.<\/p>\n

Gracie vanished after she was feeding on a hillside where the ranch\u2019s other giraffes have typically not ventured, Jones said. She then found her way to an unfenced area on the opposite side of an 8-foot-tall gate and left the ranch, Jones said.<\/p>\n

Jones said he searched an area Tuesday roughly 4 miles from the ranch after a tipster shared photos with him. But the pictures were from a few days ago, and she wasn\u2019t there, he said.<\/p>\n
