Superstar entertainer Salma Hayek<\/a> turned heads as she made a rare public appearance with her daughter by her side. Hayek, 59, and Valentina Paloma Pinault<\/a>, 18, attended an event together in London on June 23.<\/p>\n

According to People<\/a>, the pair attended the Serpentine Summer Party 2026 in London. The event is an annual gala that raises funds to support the Serpentine Galleries.<\/p>\n

Hayek wore a floor-length pale blue dress that hugged her iconic curves. It was sleeveless and had a cowl neckline and satin detailing, along with a large bow on one shoulder. Hayek wore her dark locks, streaked with hints of gray, in a sleek, high ponytail.<\/p>\n

Pinault chose a black ensemble that included a handkerchief top and a low-riding floor-length skirt. Both ladies wore sunglasses at times as they posed for photographs.<\/p>\n

The teenager is Hayek\u2019s only child, and her father is billionaire Fran\u00e7ois-Henri Pinault<\/a>. He has three other children.<\/p>\n

In October 2024, Hayek told Today<\/a> that her daughter is \u201cgoing her own way.\u201d The entertainer explained, \u201cShe wants to study political science and then, as a minor, film because she wants to be a director.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hayek<\/a> added, \u201cBut she doesn\u2019t want to study to be a director; she said, \u2018It\u2019s in my blood. I want to spend the time learning something more complicated.’\u201d<\/p>\n

In September 2025, Hayek<\/a> gushed over her daughter via an Instagram<\/a> post shared on the teen\u2019s 18th birthday. Hayek described her daughter as someone with \u201cA kind passionate heart, a wise soul full of magic, a unique unstoppable force of nature with a witty sense of humor and stubborn tenacity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Artnet<\/a> described the Serpentine Summer Party event as \u201cthe closest thing the U.K. has to a Met Gala.\u201d The gala is invitation-only and was held at Kensington Gardens. Tickets for non-members of the organization cost between $2,630 to $6,580. Hayek<\/a> was one of the hosts for the 2026 gala.<\/p>\n
