Noah Kahan<\/a> is asking fans to stop stealing a street sign in his Vermont hometown popularized by his song \u201cThe View Between Villages.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\tThe singer made the request on social media, writing, \u201cTo fans traveling to the upper valley, I\u2019ve been informed that the Alger Brook Road sign in Strafford has been repeatedly stolen. It is a total disrespect to the folks who live on that road and a headache for the town to deal with.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\n\tIt\u2019s unclear how many times fans have snagged the Alger Brook Road sign \u2014 immortalized in \u201cThe View Between Villages\u201d lyric, \u201cPast Alger Brook Road, I\u2019m over the bridge\/A minute from home, but I feel so far from it\u201d \u2014 but apparently it\u2019s become a nuisance, so much so that Kahan has even offered to \u201cpay for any replacements\u201d until a permanent solution is found.<\/p>\n

\n\tKahan also asked his fan community, which has \u201cgrown much larger\u201d over the past few years, to please respect his family\u2019s privacy. \u201cI feel I should again remind you all about how deeply protective I am over my family\u2019s privacy, and of the sanctuary of where I am from,\u201d Kahan wrote. \u201cPlease don\u2019t disturb these places or people.\u201d<\/p>\n
