Royal Duck trucked: \u2018World\u2019s largest, tallest bounce house\u2019 in Surrey for 3 weeks<\/p>\n

A touring attraction advertised as \u201cthe world\u2019s largest and tallest bounce house\u201d is coming to a Surrey mall parking lot.<\/p>\n
On Friday (June 26) the massive Royal Duck was being prepped for inflation at Guildford Town Centre, 104 Avenue at 150 Street, for a three-week run of fun.<\/p>\n
The scheduled opening has been pushed a few days due to rain and ongoing work to inflate the big bounce house.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis one is close to 23,000 square feet of flat surface, not counting all the climbing walls, bag jumps, slides and all the intricate stuff that\u2019s on the inside,\u201d event planner Jordan Irwin told the Now-Leader.<\/p>\n
\u201cRight now we\u2019re really hoping and pushing to be open on Canada Day,\u201d he said Friday. \u201cWe will have it up after some stitching to do inside and Velcro and some other work. We have some work ahead of us. Friday would have been a full day.\u201d<\/p>\n
Look for updates on royalduck.ca<\/a> and the mall <\/a>website<\/a>, which promises \u201ca premium, high-energy, immersive duck-themed inflatable playground\u201d until July 19 \u2014 possibly longer, according to Irwin.<\/p>\n Royal Duck tickets start at $28.99 for a three-hour pass. Bring your own anti-slip socks (mandatory) or buy some for $5.99 at the entrance.<\/p>\n The bounce house at Guildford is brand new, never set up before, as part of a space-rental agreement with mall management.<\/p>\n \u201cThis will be our first time in B.C.,\u201d Irwin said. \u201cWe\u2019ve been to Toronto, Alberta and Winnipeg with the tour this year. We were down in the States touring over in Miami and Port St. Lucie, Fort Myers and into Texas, and now we\u2019ve shot back up for our Canadian summer.\u201d<\/p>\n The Royal Duck website says \u201coutdoor pop-ups are weather dependent.
