The Montreal Canadiens’ 2025 training camp is quickly approaching, and already, we have some big storylines to watch.<\/p>\n

That said, there’s a rumor circulating more and more..<\/p>\n

What if Martin St-Louis found a way to keep Arber Xhekaj in the lineup for all 82 games?<\/p>\n

You can see where this is going.. Yes, we’re once again talking about the possibility of seeing Arber Xhekaj being used as a forward on the fourth line.<\/p>\n

It’s a possibility that’s gaining more traction!<\/p>\n

During a recent appearance on Tony Marinaro’s Sick Podcast, Brian Wilde also revisited an idea that has already made waves here.<\/p>\n

“I would seriously consider the idea of playing Arber Xhekaj on the wing in the NHL.”

Imagine seeing a line made up of Arber and Florian Xhekaj with the big club.<\/p>\n

It would be incredible to see, especially in the playoffs, and everything suggests it’s an idea Martin St-Louis is increasingly considering as the 2025 training camp approaches.<\/p>\n

At the very least, don’t be surprised if the experiment is attempted during a preseason game in September.<\/p>\n

Personally, I don’t see how it would be harmful to try it in a preseason game.<\/p>\n
