Other shows on the list include\u00a0Not Suitable for Work, a new workplace comedy from creator Mindy Kaling; \u00a0The Testaments, a YA-ish spinoff of\u00a0The Handmaid&#8217;s Tale; and many other current broadcast and cable shows, Hulu originals, and classics.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a method to our madness when it comes to our picks for this list. Our selections are focused on new releases, original shows from Hulu and FX, and critical hits you can&#8217;t stream anywhere else, as well as a handful of underrated favorites you might not find on other lists. Carmen Berzatto (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/celebrities\/jeremy-allen-white\/3000270760\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jeremy Allen White<\/a>), a very serious chef, takes over his brother Mikey&#8217;s (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/celebrities\/jon-bernthal\/3000385048\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jon Bernthal<\/a>) greasy, flailing sandwich shop after Mikey&#8217;s suicide. Over the course of the series, along with his sous chef Syd (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/celebrities\/ayo-edebiri\/3030904160\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\">Ayo Edebiri<\/a>) and his front of house manager Richie (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/celebrities\/ebon-moss-bachrach\/3000484917\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\">Ebon Moss-Bachrach<\/a>), he turns the place into a high-level fine dining establishment, but at great psychological and emotional cost. By the end \u2014 all five seasons are currently streaming \u2014 he has to decide whether or not it&#8217;s worth all the pain and trauma to be the best, and whether he wants to keep transferring the pain and trauma of his family onto his work instead of dealing with it. Like I said, heavy on the dram! The thing is, Simon actually really does have superpowers, which means he&#8217;s legally forbidden from being an actor, so he has to keep his powers secret \u2014 which is hard, because when he gets angry, he can&#8217;t control them. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/celebrities\/ben-kingsley\/3030192326\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\">Ben Kingsley<\/a> co-stars as Trevor Slattery, a daffy actor who previously appeared as a villain in Iron Man 3, and is now one-half of an unlikely buddy comedy duo. She works as a cleaning lady at the police station, and when she makes a Good Will Hunting-style change to an evidence board that cracks a murder case, one thing leads to another and she becomes a consultant, using her powers of observation and deduction to help Det. Adam Karadec (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/celebrities\/daniel-sunjata\/3030390478\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\">Daniel Sunjata<\/a>) solve crimes. They were one of the most stylish, iconic, and obsessed over couples of the 1990s, but they died in a private plane crash in 1999. Love Story dramatizes their life in highly dramatic, controversial fashion; actress <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/celebrities\/daryl-hannah\/3030173298\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\">Daryl Hannah<\/a>, Kennedy Jr.&#8217;s ex, strongly objected to her negative portrayal in the series via an op-ed in the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2026\/03\/06\/opinion\/daryl-hannah-love-story-jfk-jr.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">New York Times<\/a>. Brown stars as Xavier Collins, a Secret Service agent investigating the murder of the President (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/celebrities\/james-marsden\/3030389464\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">James Marsden<\/a>) inside of a post-apocalyptic bunker where the 10,000 people who are what remains of America live. There are a lot of variations on &#8220;What happened?&#8221; that need to be answered, and Fogelman and Brown are capable hands guiding you through them. J.D. returns to Sacred Heart Hospital and finds that while many things have changed, the job has not. It&#8217;s the same classic Scrubs, a little older, but no less goofy. Letterkenny, which has now wrapped up with its twelfth and final season, is one of the smartest shows around, with rapid-fire dialogue and wordplay that&#8217;s essentially Shakespeare on speedballs. The Fox sitcom follows the Belcher family, whose burger restaurant is an all-hands-on-deck job that even the kids get roped into. The show is straightforward about their constant financial stress, which leads to some of the family&#8217;s best hijinks but also highlights how hard they work to care for each other. Parents Bob (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/celebrities\/h-jon-benjamin\/3030071303\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">H. Jon Benjamin<\/a>) and Linda (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/celebrities\/john-roberts\/3000340425\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">John Roberts<\/a>) have an enviably healthy marriage, and each Belcher kid is encouraged to be as delightfully weird as they want. Devs is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/news\/devs-finale-alex-garland-sonoya-mizuno\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">packed with philosophy and intellectual discussions<\/a> about existence, technology&#8217;s place in society&#8217;s advancement, and the dire consequences of tinkering with fate, almost to the point that it&#8217;s too cerebral. Presented in the style of low-budget public access TV, it could technically be called a talk show. It&#8217;s hosted by noted purveyor of chaos\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/celebrities\/eric-andre\/3030108285\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eric Andre<\/a>, who plays a hyper-fictionalized version of himself, and he&#8217;s joined by his detached co-host\/straight man, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/celebrities\/hannibal-buress\/3000138328\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hannibal Burress<\/a>. Every episode begins with Andre violently destroying his set, and his eventual monologue usually spirals into a series of dark musings dragged out from the depths of his mind. He invites celebrities, who are sometimes real and sometimes intentionally bad impersonators, into the mess. The guests typically come in blissfully unaware of what is about to happen to them, which is clear from their often shocked, furious, and terrified faces. Andre&#8217;s host spares no one and never acknowledges that anything is out of the ordinary, even as things get progressively more bizarre, like the time live rats were released on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_POJXPcZjNg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Stacey Dash&#8217;s feet<\/a>. But what&#8217;s always consistent \u2014 besides the accent and the incredible character names \u2014 is the quality of the casts, which have included <a href=\"\">Jean Smart<\/a>, <a href=\"\">Ewan McGregor<\/a>, <a href=\"\">Billy Bob Thornton<\/a>, <a href=\"\">Chris Rock<\/a>, <a href=\"\">Martin Freeman<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/celebrities\/juno-temple\/3000217661\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Juno Temple<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/celebrities\/jon-hamm\/credits\/3000386911\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jon Hamm<\/a>, and many more. U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens, brought sexily to life by the sexy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/celebrities\/timothy-olyphant\/3000054708\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Timothy Olyphant<\/a>, watches over the backwoods of Harlan County in Kentucky, cutting down fugitives with firepower and insults, both of which bad guys never recover from. It has the best dialogue of any TV show ever (my opinion), with poetic prose Leonard himself would chuckle at, and a rotating cast of criminals with more personality than most shows&#8217; main characters. Also, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/celebrities\/walton-goggins\/3030057134\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Walton Goggins<\/a>! As an added bonus, Olyphant kindly dusted off his big ol&#8217; hat for the limited series spin-off\u00a0City Primeval, which finds Raylan facing off with a violent criminal called the Oklahoma Wildman (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvguide.com\/celebrities\/boyd-holbrook\/3030268088\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Boyd Holbrook<\/a>) in Detroit. The show uses its setting in a Midwestern box store to dig into issues like unionizing, healthcare, and immigration that rarely get this kind of coverage on television, especially network sitcoms. These aren&#8217;t Very Special Episodes: They&#8217;re just facts of life for the show&#8217;s characters, so the topical storylines feel as natural as the jokes.
