Right-hander <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/a\/adamstr01.shtml?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.mlbtraderumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-08-17_br\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Travis Adams<\/a> was optioned to Triple-A to make room for Cabrera on the active roster, while Cabrera will take the 40-man roster spot of outfielder <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/r\/rodenal01.shtml?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=www.mlbtraderumors.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-08-17_br\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Alan Roden<\/a>.
