A Quinte Red Devils AAA product is changing colours after being one of the top picks in this past weekend\u2019s NHL Entry Draft.<\/p>\n
Maddox Dagenais was drafted 16th overall in the first round by the St. Louis Blues on Friday night in Buffalo.<\/p>\n
The Montreal native was a point-per-game player this past season, notching 62 points in his sophomore campaign with the Quebec Remparts of the QMJHL.<\/p>\n
He is the son of former NHLer Pierre Dagenais.<\/p>\n
Also, fellow Red Devil grad JC Lemieux was invited to Ottawa Senators development camp after being undrafted Friday and Saturday.<\/p>\n
