Luis Diaz has told Liverpool that he wants to join Bayern Munich, according to German transfer reporter Florian Plettenburg. <\/a><\/p>\n

The German champions had already made an approach for Diaz, which Liverpool had rebuffed, but they returned with a bid for the 28-year-old.<\/p>\n

Liverpool see Diaz, who scored 17 goals last season to help them win the Premier League title and who flourished as both a left winger and a striker for Arne Slot, as a key player for this season and the rest of his contract, which ends in 2027.<\/p>\n

They believe Diaz is worth over \u20ac100m, a value they had attached for auditing purposes and in reference to the prices commanded by other high-class forwards in the Premier League and international transfer market.<\/p>\n

Liverpool are in advanced talks with Eintracht Frankfurt over Hugo Ekitike.<\/p>\n

The Premier League champions could make the French forward their fourth major summer signing if a deal can be agreed with the Bundesliga club. It is expected that Ekitike would want to make the switch to Anfield and that personal terms could be agreed with the 23-year-old.<\/p>\n

The former Paris Saint-Germain player has a \u20ac100m (\u00a386m) release clause though it is not yet apparent if Liverpool will trigger it or agree a lower price with Eintracht.<\/p>\n

Noni Madueke<\/a> has said his goodbyes to Chelsea after completing a \u00a348m summer transfer to London rivals Arsenal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old winger joined the Blues from PSV Eindhoven in 2023 and played 92 times for Chelsea, scoring 20 goals and providing nine assists.<\/p>\n

He won the Conference League with Chelsea last season and also featured in their successful Club World Cup campaign in June.<\/p>\n

The winger, who has signed a five-year deal with the Gunners that runs to June 2030, thanked his former teammates and manager before claiming he leaves Chelsea with \u201clove and admiration\u201d.<\/p>\n

Sporting climbed down from asking for a guaranteed \u20ac70m over changes of terms on issues like the payment of agent commissions. <\/p>\n

However, talks continue over the nature of the add-ons, with Sporting\u2019s representatives flying to London to complete the deal with Arsenal. <\/p>\n
