“During real time last night, I did not see that happen,” Cunningham said on the most recent episode of her podcast with West Wilson. “None of our team saw it happen, because I promise you, if we would have seen that happen, we would have had (Clark’s) back. Unfortunately, this type of (expletive) happens every single game to (Clark), and the league and the refs do absolutely nothing about it.<\/p>\n
“You see the videos of literally kneeing and cheap-shotting (Clark) in the throat. If (Thomas) did that to any of our teammates, we’d be pissed. But they are definitely targeting (Clark), and the league and the refs do nothing to protect her,” Cunningham said.<\/p>\n
Cunningham has previously been fined for comments on her “Show Me Something” podcast and for a TikTok she posted last season. It would not be a surprise if the former Missouri Tiger were to incur some form of discipline from the league office once more.<\/p>\n The Fever and Clark are in the midst of an extended break. Indiana won’t play again until it travels to the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday, July 5.<\/p>\n Need a news break?
