A man was seriously injured in a home invasion in Brampton early Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n
Emergency crews responded to the incident on Estateview Circle at Rae Avenue, northeast of Goreway Drive and Castlemore Road, in Brampton shortly before 4 a.m.<\/p>\n
One man was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, a Peel Regional Paramedic Services spokesperson told INsauga.com.<\/p>\n
Peel Regional Police said officers are on scene investigating an overnight home invasion.<\/p>\n
The suspect or suspects are no longer in the area, police said.<\/p>\n
Police did not provide a suspect description or more details on the incident. An update is expected around 10 a.m.<\/p>\n
Traffic is congested in the area due to scene management, police said. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes.<\/p>\n
