All rights reserved.<\/p>\n<p>The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed Canadian linebacker Ryan Baker to a contract extension through 2027, the team announced on Monday. He was set to become a free agent after 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The 26-year-old has made three starts at middle linebacker to begin this season in place of the injured Wynton McManis, recording 16 defensive tackles.<\/p>\n<p>The six-foot-one, 221-pound defender was originally a fifth-round pick in the 2024 CFL Draft. The Blue Bombers are coming off a 23-18 loss to the Edmonton Elks, while the Tiger-Cats were on bye.<\/p>\n<p>The weather forecast in Hamilton calls for a high of 28 degrees and a 40 percent chance of rain. The game will be broadcast on TSN in Canada, CBS Sports Network in the United States, and CFL+ internationally.
