(As an aside New Jersey used that pick to trade for former Jets prospect Johnny Kovacevic from Montreal, who had picked him up off waivers).<\/p>\n<p>In total the right-shot defenceman played 590 regular season games in the NHL scoring 43 goals with 140 assists.
