{"id":77384,"date":"2025-08-17T22:59:07","date_gmt":"2025-08-17T22:59:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/77384\/"},"modified":"2025-08-17T22:59:07","modified_gmt":"2025-08-17T22:59:07","slug":"1-critically-hurt-in-fight-near-torontos-moss-park-another-arrested","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/77384\/","title":{"rendered":"1 critically hurt in fight near Toronto\u2019s Moss Park, another arrested"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">A male has been rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a fight between two people in downtown east Toronto on Sunday, police say.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The incident happened in the Moss Park neighbourhood, near Sherbourne Street and Queen Street East.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Toronto police said they were called to that area at 1:23 p.m. for reports of two people fighting.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Police said officers at the scene found a male with injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Another male was arrested nearby, they said, later adding that he was also transported to hospital with serious injuries by Toronto paramedics.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Both males appear to have been stabbed, investigators said.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/PMPPSVYFR5BMPAZZZVSEV45FCE.png\"  width=\"800\" height=\"416\"\/>Fight Moss Park Aug. 17 A male was critically injured in a fight in the Moss Park neighbourhood on Aug. 17.
