(Photo by Michael Regan\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Italy international <a href=\"https:\/\/football-italia.net\/arteta-biggest-things-calafiori-arsenal-25-26\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Riccardo Calafiori<\/a> is off the mark for the 2025-26, as he claimed Arsenal\u2019s first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.premierleague.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Premier League<\/a> goal of the season with the opener against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The former Bologna centre-back lined up as a starter on the left of Mikel Arteta\u2019s back four, along with Benjamin White, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It was Declan Rice\u2019s corner that provided Calafiori with the opportunity to put Arsenal ahead.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/manchester-united-v-arsenal-prem-1.jpg\" class=\"lazyload lazyload wp-image-908625 has-webp size-full\" alt=\"MANCHESTER, ENGLAND - AUGUST 17: Riccardo Calafiori of Arsenal celebrates scoring his team's first goal with teammate Declan Rice during the Premier League match between Manchester United and Arsenal at Old Trafford on August 17, 2025 in Manchester, England.
