However, the couple are allegedly negotiating a $200 million agreement. \u201cHugh was against a prenup initially, but his business team and his ex kicked off about it, with Sutton also wanting to protect her future should things go sideways,\u201d a friend of Hugh\u2019s allegedly told New Idea.<\/p>\n

Jackman is a father to 24-year-old Oscar and 20-year-old Ava<\/a> with Furness. Foster shares 9-year-old daughter Emily with her ex-husband, Ted Griffin.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThis is all new territory for both of them, and it\u2019s not comfortable discussions, but neither of them is willing to walk away \u2013 and Hugh genuinely believes the Sutton trolls will calm down once they\u2019re married,\u201d the source continued. <\/p>\n

\n\tNew Idea reports that Jackman and Foster got engaged in January during a New Year\u2019s vacation in Costa Rica. \u201cIt wasn\u2019t a shock to Sutton as it\u2019s something they\u2019ve been talking about,\u201d a source said. <\/p>\n

\n\tHowever, amid public backlash over their relationship, insiders have said thagt Foster and Jackman are also navigating the opinions of his children<\/a> and ex-wife. \u201cEven though Hugh is excited to start this next chapter with Sutton, he has to be sensitive to his kids,\u201d a source told the National Enquirer<\/a>. \u201cThey\u2019re incredibly protective of their mother and he wants to be respectful of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHugh really wants his kids at the wedding,\u201d shared the source. \u201cThey both want their loved ones with them to celebrate.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFoster and Jackman first went public with their relationship in January 2025, but it is widely reported that they started their romance as an affair<\/a> while appearing together in The Music Man on Broadway in 2022. At the time Jackman was still married to Furness, from whom he split in 2023 after 27 years of marriage. Foster was still married to Griffin, from whom she separated in 2024 after 10 years of marriage. <\/p>\n
