In six years, the event has grown from a neighbourhood gathering into one of the largest street food festivals in Qu\u00e9bec. This year, fifty kiosks from more than 25 different countries \u2013 a new record \u2013 take over the waterfront for four nights only. The festival is ready to welcome more than 70,000 visitors.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-82286\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/BOUFFE-B-Food2-300x200.webp\" alt=\"Festival Streetfood de Montr\u00e9al\" width=\"400\" height=\"266\"  \/>Lantern-lit alleys, charcoal smoke in the air, woks clattering, grills hissing, music that gets you moving. From jerk chicken sizzling on the grill to churros dusted in cinnamon sugar, sushi rolled to order, paella bubbling in a pan the size of a cartwheel, a golden Korean pogo, tacos that don\u2019t fit in one hand, and somewhere between it all \u2013 mango sticky rice, sweet, warm, impossibly good. Every kiosk is its own world.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-82283\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/D-Service-5-242x300.webp\" alt=\"Festival Streetfood de Montr\u00e9al\" width=\"305\" height=\"379\"  \/>A FESTIVAL THAT KEEPS GROWING AND BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER<br \/>Launched in 2019, Festival Streetfood de Montr\u00e9al established itself as a must-attend summer event in record time. Each edition has brought more cuisines, higher attendance, and a sharper experience. In 2026, the festival welcomes kiosks from more than 25 different countries for the first time \u2014 a new record. Over 150 dishes to taste, to share, to talk about \u2014 because the best way to bring people together is still to eat together.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-82281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/BOUFFE-Food1-300x188.webp\" alt=\"Festival Streetfood de Montr\u00e9al\" width=\"400\" height=\"251\"  \/>WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2026<br \/>Loto-Qu\u00e9bec fireworks Thursday night: July 16 is one of the official show dates of L\u2019International des Feux Loto-Qu\u00e9bec, the world\u2019s largest fireworks competition. Launched from La Ronde and exploding over the St. Lawrence River, the show is fully visible from the Old Port, making Clock Tower Pier one of the best free viewing spots in the city that night.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-82294\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/C-Kiosque-5-247x300.webp\" alt=\"Festival Streetfood de Montr\u00e9al\" width=\"342\" height=\"415\"  \/>\u2022 DJ sets every night: Latin, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, East Asian. The vast majority of dishes are $10 and under, and each kiosk can offer at most two items between $10 and $17. It\u2019s a model built for grazing: try the Korean pogo, grab a taco, circle back for the mango sticky rice.
