Ava Dash is playing coy about her relationship status after she and \u201cSummer House\u201d star Kyle Cooke were caught locking lips in the Hamptons<\/a> over the weekend.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were having a good time,\u201d the \u201cNext Gen NYC\u201d star, 26, explained in an exclusive new interview with Page Six\u2019s \u201cVirtual Reali-Tea.\u201d <\/p>\n

When asked if she would be open to experiencing more of that \u201cgood time\u201d with the 43-year-old DJ, Dash did not share any further details.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m open to having a really great summer, and I\u2019m having a really great summer. I just want to have fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

The PDA-packed outing came as a surprise to many fans, considering Cooke denied any relationship with Dash back in March.<\/p>\n

Dash revealed, however, that those around her are pretty excited to see where the new romance takes them \u2014 well, everyone except for her famous father, Damon Dash.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe one person who I don\u2019t know is shipping it that hard is my dad,\u201d she explained, admitting that she \u201cdidn\u2019t warn\u201d her father of any potential headlines before news surfaced.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, that was something he just saw. He sent [the article]<\/a> to me and he said, \u2018Are you kidding me?’\u201d<\/p>\n

The Bravolebrity told us that her dad took issue with her \u201ckissing in public,\u201d but she explained to him that he didn\u2019t \u201cknow the whole story.\u201d<\/p>\n

While she didn\u2019t explicitly state where she and Cooke currently stand, Dash couldn\u2019t help but gush about her friendship with Cooke and the rest of the \u201cSummer House\u201d cast.<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, me and Kyle and a lot of the \u2018Summer House\u2019 people are in the same friend group now. We\u2019ve all gotten so close,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not something I was expecting, but a lot of my best friends are friends with him and friends with Jesse [Solomon]. Like, I went to Coachella with Jesse and Mia [Calabrese], so I got to really know her there. I love their friend group so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dash added: \u201cI\u2019ve always been friends with people slightly older than me. So, I just feel very comfortable with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dash explained that she and Cooke (seen here with Carl Radke at the Palm Tree Music Festival) became close as a result of her becoming friends with the \u201cSummer House\u201d cast. Celsius<\/p>\n

Cooke and Dash fueled romance speculation over the weekend after they were seen smooching \u201copenly\u201d at the Palm Tree Music Festival, according to a source. Celsius<\/p>\n

As Page Six exclusively reported, a spy caught Cooke and Dash getting very cozy in their VIP section at the Palm Tree Music Festival on the Shinnecock Nation grounds in Southampton.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey were hanging out at a table in the VIP section for sponsor Celsius,\u201d the eyewitness said. \u201cIt seemed like something romantic was going on from the way they looked at each other. There was definitely a vibe that they were into each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another source told us that the two reality stars were \u201ckissing openly.\u201d <\/p>\n

While one insider told us that the duo are still in the \u201cvery new\u201d stage of \u201ctalking and hanging out,\u201d another source close to Cooke \u2014 who ended his marriage to Amanda Batula<\/a> earlier this year \u2014 emphasized that they are not dating.<\/p>\n

Cooke and Dash were first romantically linked in March when they were reportedly caught holding hands at a dinner \u2014 but Cooke quickly shut down the speculation. <\/p>\n

\u201cI am not [dating Dash]. No, that was a very friendly dinner,\u201d he told host Andy Cohen on \u201cWatch What Happens Live\u201d in March.<\/p>\n
