A 22-year-old man has been charged with extortion and conspiracy to commit murder after two violent incidents in Brampton, Peel police say.<\/p>\n

The arrest is part of an investigation into an organized crime group known as For Brothers, police said in a news release Thursday. <\/p>\n

The first incident was on April 21, when a Brampton business was targeted in a shooting at around 2:50 a.m. Investigators found 14 shell casings at the scene and the accused fled in a silver Honda Civic, according to the release.<\/p>\n
