According to police, the pair were riding an e-scooter when they lost control.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Paramedics took both boys to the hospital. Police said one suffered life-threatening injuries, while the other sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/1783153038_345_2UNEKL2GYNA5BO3MAHR4MIXZIE.png\"  width=\"800\" height=\"450\"\/>Dundas and East Mall collision Police are on the scene of a collision near Dundas Street West and The East Mall on Friday, July 3, 2026. (Jacob Estrin\/CTV News) <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">A spokesperson with Toronto police Traffic Services told CP24 that it was an unfortunate incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The circumstances that led to the crash are unknown.
