The Saskatchewan Roughriders outscored the Ottawa Redblacks 27-3 across the second and third quarters to build a cushion, then hung on late as Ottawa clawed back with a fourth-quarter score. Saskatchewan improves to 3-1 and stays glued to the top of a crowded West race, while Ottawa drops to 0-4 and remains the only winless team in the league.

Box Score

Team

Q1

Q2

Q3

Q4

OT

Final

Saskatchewan Roughriders

0

13

14

0

0

27

Ottawa Redblacks

10

3

3

6

0

22

See full player stats and game details

Game Highlights

Top PerformersSaskatchewan RoughridersOttawa RedblacksTeam Stats

Stat

Saskatchewan Roughriders

Ottawa Redblacks

Total Yards

350

338

Passing

18/31, 243 yds, 2 TD

23/30, 259 yds, 1 TD

Rushing

22 att, 107 yds, 0 TD

17 att, 79 yds, 1 TD

Turnovers

1

0

Quick Hits

Saskatchewan’s 27-point outburst over the middle two quarters buried Ottawa before the Redblacks could ever find a rhythm.

Jake Maier completed better than 76% of his throws for 259 yards, but a lone touchdown wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Riders’ balanced attack.

KeeSean Johnson’s 9-catch, 137-yard, 1-TD line was the clear fantasy standout, giving Harris a legit go-to target through the air.

What’s Next

CFL Standings | Full Schedule | League Leaders

What’s your takeaway?
