\"SohailSohail Khan remembers Salim Khan’s health battle; ‘I was staying with him in the hospital, my heart sank when the doctor said you might lose him’ Actor and filmmaker Sohail Khan<\/a> has spoken candidly about one of the most emotional chapters of his life, recalling the period when his father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan<\/a>, was hospitalised following a serious health emergency. During a recent episode of the reality show Alliance, Sohail shared how the experience changed his outlook on family and made him value every moment spent with his parents.Speaking during a heartfelt conversation with fellow contestant Delbar Arya<\/a>, Sohail reflected on the importance of spending time with loved ones. He explained that while his children have many years ahead of them, he feels it is essential to dedicate more of his time to his ageing parents.<\/p>\n

Why spending time with parents matters<\/p>\n

Explaining his priorities, Sohail said that time is the most meaningful gift a person can offer someone they love. He revealed that he consciously chooses to remain close to his parents because he knows every moment with them is precious.He said, “My maximum time is spent with my parents because I genuinely believe that time is the most valuable thing you can give somebody. Mere bache hai lekin woh young hai aur unke pass bahut time hai but my parents are old now and that I would like to spend with them.”<\/p>\n

Doctors warned the family about Salim Khan<\/p>\n

Salim Khan suffered a brain haemorrhage earlier this year and remained in hospital for nearly a month while receiving treatment. Looking back at those difficult days, Sohail admitted that hearing the doctors speak about the seriousness of his father’s condition left him devastated.Recalling the frightening experience, he revealed, “Actually I fear, when my father got unwell, a couple of weeks back he was hospitalized and he went into a semi coma…and I was staying with him in the hospital my heart sank when the doctor said you might lose him, I was like my father, my mother, somebody who are very dear to me… and I said that agar daddy ko kuch ho gaya toh matlab I don’t know how I’ll operate because for me my parents are my life, everything.”<\/p>\n

Salman Khan cheers for his younger brother<\/p>\n

While Sohail has been opening up about his personal life on Alliance, his elder brother Salman Khan publicly extended his encouragement.
