They trailed by 21 points early in the third quarter and never led in regulation after they led 4-3. Sometimes it sounds like a (expletive) word when we talk about being resilient, but it&#8217;s not, man. It&#8217;s how we live,&#8221; White said. &#8220;It&#8217;s a tribute to you. It&#8217;s a tribute to your connectedness, your togetherness, your toughness, your mindset, your never (expletive) give up gritty attitudes. That&#8217;s what it takes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We will never be counted out because that is worth (expletive) gold.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>She praised Mitchell \u2014 &#8220;You put us on your back big-time. You are the consummate professional. We love you, we appreciate you.&#8221; \u2014 and also singled out\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wnba.com\/player\/1641648\/aliyah-boston\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Aliyah Boston<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wnba.com\/player\/1631086\/lexie-hull\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Lexie Hull<\/a>, Brianna Turner and <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Natasha Howard<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>She reminded the players that&#8217;s what it will take the rest of the season.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We gotta play. We gotta play with no pressure, but we (expletive) fight,&#8221; White said. &#8220;Live that resilience, every (expletive) day, and we will accomplish what we want to accomplish.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Fever (19-16) were tied for sixth in the WNBA standings with Golden State, which played later Sunday.
