\u2022\u00a0Download the NBA App<\/a> SACRAMENTO \u2013 Hunter Sallis and Ben Humrichous each scored 15 points to lead the Brooklyn Nets to an 89-69 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in the California Classic Summer League on Sunday.<\/p>\n The Nets and Bucks engaged in a back-and-forth contest in the opening 10 minutes, as both teams combined for 53 points, although Brooklyn grabbed the lead 29-24 after one period. The Nets would pull away for good in the second quarter, outscoring Milwaukee 27-12 and never looking back the rest of the way.<\/p>\n Even though the Bucks showed some fight in the second half, it was too late to mount a comeback.<\/p>\n Down by 18 points entering the final quarter, the Bucks didn\u2019t have enough left in the tank to even sniff a potential turnaround, and the Nets ended up winning with ease by 20 points.<\/p>\n Sallis led the way for the Nets with 15 points, six rebounds, six assists and two blocks while shooting 3-of-5 from three-point range.<\/p>\n Humrichous had 15 points and eight boards, while Duke Brennan posted a 10-point, 12-rebound double-double. Dwight Murray Jr. ended with 14 points and four turnovers, and Dain Dainja added 10 points off the bench. The Nets shot 44.9 percent from the field (35-for-78) and 44.8 percent from beyond the arc (13-for-29).<\/p>\n Brandon Boston was the leading scorer for the Bucks with an 18-point effort across 28 minutes. Kobe Stewart had 13 points with eight rebounds, and Zack Austin added 11 points despite shooting 4-for-12 from the field.<\/p>\n The Bucks shot just 32.4 percent from the floor (27-for-74) and 37.9 percent from three-point range (11-for-29).<\/p>\n Brooklyn\u2019s No. 6 overall pick, Mikel Brown Jr., did not play, and neither did the Bucks\u2019 two lottery picks \u2013 Brayden Burries and Nate Ament.<\/p>\n Both teams will return to the hardwood Monday.
