THE CANADIAN PRESS\/Nick Iwanyshyn<\/p>\n<p>By The Canadian Press<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\tJul 5, 2026 | 6:11 PM\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>HAMILTON \u2014 Veteran quarterbacks Zach Collaros and Bo Levi Mitchell were both knocked out of Sunday\u2019s CFL game between the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Winnipeg Blue Bombers.<\/p>\n<p>Winnipeg starter Collaros suffered an upper-body injury early in the second quarter that knocked him out of the contest. Collaros was sacked by Hamilton\u2019s Reggie Stubblefield and was able to walk off the field and remained on the sidelines with his helmet on but rookie Taylor Elgersma took over as the Bombers starter.<\/p>\n<p>At halftime, a Bombers official said the 37-year-old Collaros wouldn\u2019t return to the contest.<\/p>\n<p>Then at 3:24 of the third, Winnipeg\u2019s Jake Ceresna sacked Mitchell, Hamilton\u2019s starter, and came down on Mitchell\u2019s left leg.
