In the decade and a half since Miley Cyrus<\/a> released “Party in the U.S.A.” from her The Time of Our Lives EP, the singer has scored more hits on major charts around the world than the majority of artists will ever manage. And yet, despite all of her commercial success, people around the world return to “Party in the U.S.A.,\u201d and it may go down as her signature tune \u2013 or, at least one of them. <\/p>\n

The song has become a staple in the summer, especially in America, as it’s associated closely with the nation’s birthday, July 4. “Party in the U.S.A.” returns to the weekly rankings in the United Kingdom this time around \u2013 which notably does not celebrate July 4. The cut was recently released on vinyl, and it becomes a bestseller in that country, due perhaps to Cyrus’s huge fan base and her ongoing popularity.<\/p>\n

Miley Cyrus Debuts “Party in the U.S.A.”<\/p>\n

On the current edition of the Official Vinyl Singles chart<\/a>, which details the top-selling individual tracks available to purchase on wax in the U.K., “Party in the U.S.A.”<\/a> debuts close to two decades after its initial release. The Cyrus smash arrives this week at No. 21.<\/p>\n

Miley Cyrus Scores Her Third Vinyl Chart Hit<\/p>\n

Cyrus has now scored only three hits on the Official Vinyl Singles chart throughout her career. She first landed on the tally back in 2019 alongside super producer Mark Ronson. The two collaborated on “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart,” which only climbed as high as No. 27. <\/p>\n

“Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” continues to stand as Cyrus’s lowest-peaking hit on the Official Vinyl Singles rundown, but it is also her longest-charting. The collaborative cut is her only smash to manage more than one frame on the list, as it held on for three. <\/p>\n

Nearly three years ago, “Used to Be Young” helped Cyrus claim her first top 10 hit, and so far, her only appearance inside that tier. “Used to Be Young”<\/a> opened at No. 4 and then vanished.<\/p>\n

“Party in the U.S.A.” Returns to the Physical Sales Chart<\/p>\n

Thanks to its release on vinyl, “Party in the U.S.A.” also manages to find its way back to the Official Physical Singles chart. The Cyrus hit was previously available on CD before wax records became incredibly popular once more. “Party in the U.S.A.” debuted on the Official Physical Singles chart inside the top 10 at No. 9, scoring its only frame within that tier. “Party in the U.S.A.” has fallen off of and returned to the physical singles tally more than once, but it hasn’t been seen on the roster in more than a decade and a half.<\/p>\n

Miley Cyrus Has Landed Five Top 10s on the Physical Chart<\/p>\n

Since first landing on the Official Physical Singles chart almost 20 years ago, in March 2007 with “The Best of Both Worlds,” Cyrus has earned nine total hits. More than half of those \u2013 five in total \u2013 have reached the top 10. That roundup includes “See You Again,” “Fly on the Wall,” “Can’t Be Tamed,” “Used to Be Young” and, of course, “Party in the U.S.A.”<\/p>\n

“Party in the U.S.A.” Extends Its Longevity Lead<\/p>\n

While several pieces of music have climbed higher than her patriotic smash, “Party in the U.S.A.” does stand out as Cyrus’s longest-running bestseller. It has owned that honor for years now, and “Party in the U.S.A.” extends its lead over all other tunes by Cyrus in terms of longevity on the Official Physical Singles chart as it returns. “Party in the U.S.A.” celebrates 16 nonconsecutive weeks somewhere on the rundown. Her second longest-charting effort, “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” with Ronson, trails by three frames.<\/p>\n
