Travis Kelce\u2019s NFL pal Taylor Lewan expressed his hurt over not being invited to the Chiefs TE\u2019s wedding to Taylor Swift. Lewan went on an angry rant on Tuesday\u2019s episode of Bussin\u2019 With The Boys, which he co-hosts with another of Kelce\u2019s NFL friends, Will Compton. For those unversed, Swift and Kelce tied the knot on July 3 at New York City\u2019s iconic Madison Square Garden, with close friends and family in attendance.<\/p>\n
Taylor Lewan calls out Travis Kelce after Taylor Swift wedding snub<\/p>\n
Taylor Lewan vented on his podcast that Travis Kelce<\/a> did not invite him to his wedding to Taylor Swift. Lewan began by congratulating the couple on their wedding. The former Titan then threw shade at Kelce and Swift\u2019s \u201cintimate wedding.\u201d \u201cClearly it was an extremely intimate wedding. An intimate wedding where clearly only their closest friends went,\u201d he said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.<\/p>\n \u201cSo, going into the weekend I thought, \u2018Oh good. Didn\u2019t get an invite. Checked my AOL, reactivated that. No invite there.\u2019 And I was just making sure,\u201d Lewan said.<\/p>\n Continuing further, he said, \u201cHappy for them. Sent Travis a shot of a text Saturday night saying, \u2018Congratulations.\u2019 You hit me back pretty quick. Happy for them and their relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n Lewan then began discussing the guest list. The former Titan star revealed that he understood San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle and his wife Claire\u2019s presence at the nuptials. However, he was surprised to learn that the player\u2019s mother and mother-in-law were also there.<\/p>\n Lewan complained to his co-hosts: \u201cThey\u2019re close, but like, yo, we\u2019re boys\u2026.I\u2019ve known you for over 10 years. We text and call each other.\u201d<\/p>\n The former tackle reflected upon his long friendship with Kelce, stating, \u201cI\u2019m gonna take the high road, okay? But I\u2019m just thinking, dude, I\u2019m clearly doing something wrong in our friendship.\u201d<\/p>\n His co-hosts asked him to show his last few text messages to the Chiefs\u2019 tight end. Lewan dished: \u201cFriday: \u2018Congrats, amigo.\u2019 Saturday: \u2018Thank you, brother.\u2019 That\u2019s our last two texts to each other. It was me saying, \u2018Hey, bag secured. Congrats, amigo.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Previously, Will Compton reacted to not being invited to Kelce and Swift\u2019s wedding on Monday\u2019s Wake Up Barstool episode<\/a>.
