This year&#8217;s winner qualifies for the 2027 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlssoccer.com\/competitions\/concacaf-champions-cup\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Concacaf Champions Cup<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Vancouver FC opened the scoring in the 55th minute, with Damiano Pecile&#8217;s low shot deflecting in off Nicol\u00e1s Mezquida.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CF Montr\u00e9al leveled nine minutes later, with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlssoccer.com\/players\/dagur-thorhallsson\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dagur Dan Th\u00f3rhallsson<\/a> cross caroming off the head of Vancouver FC defender Matteo Campagna.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And then <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlssoccer.com\/players\/prince-osei-owusu\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Prince Owusu<\/a> buried a 92nd-minute penalty kick to seal the come-from-behind win for CF Montr\u00e9al.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The second leg will be played at Stade Saputo on July 12.
