{"id":79136,"date":"2025-08-18T16:41:08","date_gmt":"2025-08-18T16:41:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/79136\/"},"modified":"2025-08-18T16:41:08","modified_gmt":"2025-08-18T16:41:08","slug":"what-stores-are-closing-in-toronto","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/79136\/","title":{"rendered":"what stores are closing in Toronto?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Twelve more The Beer Store locations across Ontario, including three in the Greater Toronto Area, are slated to shutter by mid-October. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">As of Oct. 19, the alcohol retailer said it will close two stores in Toronto\u2014located at 900A Don Mills Rd. and 800 Gerrard St. E.\u2014and another in North York at 3078 Don Mills Rd. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Here is where the other nine closing locations are across the province: <\/p>\n<p>882 Ward St., Bridgenorth, Ont.8647 Hwy. #60, Eganville, Ont.89 Main St. S., Forest, Ont.21 Ontario St. N., Grand Bend, Ont. 398 King St. W., Harrow, Ont.53 Meredith St. E., Little Current, Ont. 33 Argyle St., Markdale, Ont. 142 David St. N., No\u00eblville, Ont.704 Main St., Sauble Beach, Ont.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cThe Beer Store is modernizing to meet the changing marketplace and unfortunately this means making the hard decision to close retail locations. We know this is difficult news for customers and employees,\u201d Vice President of Retail Ozzie Ahmed said in a release. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cAs The Beer Store modernizes, our locations will continue to provide friendly customer service and a deposit return system that gets consumers their money back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">This is just the latest in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ctvnews.ca\/london\/article\/beer-store-closing-more-locations-across-southern-ontario\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.ctvnews.ca\/london\/article\/beer-store-closing-more-locations-across-southern-ontario\/\">series of closure-related announcements<\/a> the retailer has made since the start of the year.
