The NFL has announced a multiyear licensing deal with the footwear company Crocs, which should allow for some comfortable Sunday viewing sessions.<\/p>\n

Many sports fans and players, including Dallas Wings rookie Paige Bueckers<\/a>, enjoy wearing Crocs. Earlier this year, Las Vegas Raiders<\/a> rookie Ashton Jeanty showed up to the 2025 NFL Draft wearing the crystal-covered clogs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Crocs brand has made a significant impact on footwear culture with their shoes becoming synonymous with ease and comfort,\u201d said Ryan Samuelson, vice president of consumer products at the NFL. \u201cCollaborating with Crocs allows us to give fans expanded gameday options that will keep them stylishly comfortable for gameday and every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

The original release, which will drop on September 18 for $84.99, will feature 14 NFL teams.<\/p>\n

The initial line includes the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles<\/a>, Detroit Lions<\/a>, San Francisco 49ers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Bears<\/a>, Buffalo Bills<\/a>, Las Vegas Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins<\/a>, Minnesota Vikings<\/a>, Cincinnati Bengals<\/a>, Houston Texans<\/a>, and Denver Broncos<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Many of them look normal and inoffensive and seem perfectly suited for a casual hang:<\/p>\n

Some of them, like the pair for the Cowboys<\/a>, look fairly normal.<\/p>\n

But the attached Jibbitz\u2122 charms for the Bears, Bills, and Vikings are a bit more odd.<\/p>\n

These shoes should not have horns! Aside from aesthetic issues, that would make it quite difficult to walk.<\/p>\n

Similarly, the shoes for the Bears should not have claws. That was a bold decision that isn’t working.<\/p>\n

If these are detachable, there’s less of an issue.<\/p>\n

But if this is a permanent part of the shoe, it’s a glaring problem for anyone who hopes to take themselves seriously.<\/p>\n
