Jana Kramer defended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce\u2019s choice to have \u201csweet\u201d Adam Sandler officiate their Madison Square Garden wedding<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone was like, \u2018Oh, that\u2019s an interesting choice,\u2019\u201d she said on her \u201cWhine Down\u201d podcast<\/a> Friday, referring to the comedian\u2019s role in the star-studded nuptials<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will say [on] the Adam Sandler piece of things, I met him a million years ago,\u201d the actress recalled. \u201cI did that movie\u00a0\u2018Click\u2019\u00a0with him.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress shared her positive experience working with the \u201csweet\u201d comedian on the 2006 film \u201cClick.\u201d (Kramer pictured here at the premiere.) E. Charbonneau<\/p>\n

\u201cIt almost does make sense to me now because he does have that sentimental [personality] like, he\u2019s just such a sweet man,\u201d she gushed. \u201cHe really is, and he\u2019s a good man. So I could see him being really funny, but then also really grounded and sentimental.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking more about the time they spent together on set of the 2006 film, the \u201cOne Tree Hill\u201d alum said that Sandler, 59, is \u201cvery intentional when he speaks.\u201d<\/p>\n

She claimed that although the actor comes off as a huge personality on-screen, he is more \u201csoft spoken\u201d behind-the-scenes, making him a great officiant.<\/p>\n

Swift\u2019s longtime publicist, Tree Paine, confirmed to Page Six that the \u201cGrown Ups\u201d star officiated the ceremony at the iconic New York City venue on July 3.<\/p>\n

The newlyweds appeared to have nudged Sandler to take on the job after he and Kelce shared the screen in the 2025 film \u201cHappy Gilmore 2.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end made a memorable cameo in the comedy flick<\/a>, as he wore only an apron while being smothered in honey by Bad Bunny, who also appeared in the film.<\/p>\n

Instead of a traditional bridal party, the bride and groom chose to honor<\/a> the pop star\u2019s brother, Austin Swift, as her \u201cMan of Honor\u201d and the athlete\u2019s brother, Jason Kelce, as the \u201cBest Man.\u201d<\/p>\n
