That streak will continue this summer with a loaded final four that features France, Spain, Argentina, and England.<\/p>\n
The top teams delivered again, and now we\u2019re left with four soccer heavyweights who can win it all.<\/p>\n
France remains the favourite at +140 at FanDuel, with Spain as the second choice to lift the trophy at +320.<\/p>\n
Spain is +122 to upset in the semi-final versus France, which is -140 to advance.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, England is -124 to advance against Argentina and the third choice to lift the trophy at +330.<\/p>\n
Argentina will be an underdog for the first time in the tournament versus England at +106 to advance and +390 to lift the trophy at FanDuel.<\/p>\n

Edmonton is the biggest surprise in the CFL through five weeks, and their star running back has been the biggest reason for their success.<\/p>\n

What Are The Odds Justin Rankin Breaks Mike Pringle\u2019s CFL Scrimmage Yards Record?<\/p>\n
In 1994, Mike Pringle set a CFL single-season scrimmage yards record with 2,414, and sparked Baltimore\u2019s run to the 82nd Grey Cup against the BC Lions.<\/p>\n
Four years later, in 1998, he matched his own record with exactly 2,414 scrimmage yards as a member of the Montreal Alouettes.<\/p>\n
Not one yard more, not one yard less.<\/p>\n
The statistical symmetry is mesmerizing.<\/p>\n
He didn\u2019t just own the CFL record book; he signed it in perfect ink, twice.<\/p>\n
Four years, pure excellence, zero deviation.<\/p>\n
What are the odds Pringle\u2019s PIN is 2414?<\/p>\n
Nearly three decades later, Justin Rankin is already ahead of the pace set by Pringle in both 1994 and in 1998.<\/p>\n
Rankin has registered 810 scrimmage yards in five games.<\/p>\n
If he maintains his current pace, Rankin wouldn\u2019t just set a new CFL single-season scrimmage yards record \u2013 he\u2019d clear Pringle\u2019s existing record by more than 500 yards.<\/p>\n
Rankin is on pace for 2,916 scrimmage yards this season.<\/p>\n
That number includes 1,847 rushing yards on 241 carries, and 1,069 receiving yards on 94 receptions.<\/p>\n
He\u2019s also on pace for 26 touchdowns.<\/p>\n
Those are video game numbers.<\/p>\n
What are the odds Rankin smashes the record?<\/p>\n
FanDuel has Rankin to break the single season yards from scrimmage record at +100 \u2013 a 50\/50 proposition.<\/p>\n
That is remarkable.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Rankin to register 1000 rushing yards and 1000 receiving yards in the same season \u2013 something nobody in CFL history has done before \u2013 is +430.<\/p>\n
FanDuel also set Rankin to break the CFL single season rushing record at +340.<\/p>\n
Finally, only Davis Alexander of the Montreal Alouettes has shorter odds (+250) to win CFL regular season most outstanding player than Rankin (+340).<\/p>\n

Of course, we\u2019re only five games into a long CFL season.<\/p>\n
Defences adjust, bodies can break down, and that makes sustaining video game numbers that much more difficult in 2026.<\/p>\n
Regardless, Rankin is off to the hottest start in CFL history, and his elite performance as a dual threat back with burst, vision, and hands has carried the Elks to a surprise 4-1 record that is tied for the best in the league.<\/p>\n
Edmonton entered Week 1 as the biggest longshot to win the Grey Cup at +1900 at FanDuel.<\/p>\n
The Elks are down to +650 to win it all as the third choice behind the Alouettes (+200) and the defending Grey Cup champion Saskatchewan Roughriders (+460).<\/p>\n
In case you missed it, Milt Stegall told Jay Onrait last night that he doesn\u2019t expect Edmonton to slow down anytime soon.<\/p>\n
While it\u2019s still early, we\u2019re about to find out whether Edmonton is for real or not over the next two weeks.<\/p>\n
First up, the Elks will host the Lions on Friday Night Football in Week 7.<\/p>\n
Edmonton is a 3.5-point favourite at FanDuel.<\/p>\n
The following week, the Elks will visit the Riders off their bye in the first of a home-and-home.<\/p>\n
Then in Week 9, Edmonton will host Saskatchewan.<\/p>\n
In Week 10, the Elks visit the favourite to win the Grey Cup in Montreal.<\/p>\n
Four games against the top three choices to win the Grey Cup at FanDuel entering the regular season.<\/p>\n
On one hand, that\u2019s an absolute gauntlet of a schedule.<\/p>\n
On the other, it\u2019s a chance for the Elks to prove something.<\/p>\n
Whether Rankin can at least come close to maintaining his remarkable pace will play a huge role in Edmonton\u2019s performances against the Lions, Riders, and Alouettes over the next four weeks.<\/p>\n
