\u201cAs the World Turns\u201d alum Scott Bryce has died<\/a> at the age of 68.<\/p>\n

\u201cA wonderful actor, a beautiful man and a terrific husband and father, Scott Bryce, passed tonight,\u201d the actor\u2019s pal Lucie Arnaz\u00a0wrote in a since-deleted Facebook post on Sunday, <\/a>per journalist Michael Fairman<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am going to miss his eyes, his smile, his wit, his brain, his intelligence, his talent, his bravery, his laugh and his hugs,\u201d the daughter of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz\u00a0continued.<\/p>\n

The \u201cAs the World Turns\u201d alum passed away on Sunday, his pal Lucie Arnaz\u00a0announced in a since-deleted Facebook post. (Seen here: Bryce and Meg Ryan in the soap opera). CBS via Getty Images<\/p>\n

Lucie, 74, also penned a special message to Bryce\u2019s wife, Jodi Stevens, whom he wed in 2003, and their son Jackson, 19, adding, \u201cHe\u2019s watching over you now from a place of pure joy and will always be your guide.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I hate these goodbyes. Rest in peace you marvelous, magnificent man,\u201d the \u201cJazz Singer\u201d actress continued.<\/p>\n

Ahead of his death, Bryce battled Stage 3 esophageal and stomach cancer, which he was diagnosed with in 2025.<\/p>\n

After undergoing treatment, the actor shared that he was \u201con the mend.\u201d <\/p>\n

Additionally, Lucie revealed in her heartbreaking announcement that his cancer had returned, according to Fairman. <\/p>\n

A rep for Bryce wasn\u2019t immediately available to Page Six for comment. Arnaz did not immediately return Page Six\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

Bryce was best known for his role as Craig Montgomery in the long-standing TV series \u201cAs the World Turns,\u201d which he starred in from 1982 to 2008.<\/p>\n

In the series, Bryce was involved in an on-screen love triangle with Meg Ryan\u2019s character, Betsy, and Frank Runyeon\u2019s character Steve. <\/p>\n

Ultimately, Montgomery and Betsy part ways after tying the knot, and the latter ends up with Steve.<\/p>\n

While working on the soap opera, Bryce received\u00a0two Daytime Emmy nominations in 1986 and 1987 for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.<\/p>\n

Additionally, he also appeared in \u201cSilk Hope,\u201d \u201cMurphy Brown,\u201d \u201cBeacon Hill,\u201d \u201cChicago P.D.,\u201d \u201cLaw & Order: Special Victims Unit\u201d and \u201cBlue Bloods.\u201d Bryce\u2019s last acting credit was in a 2024 \u201cLaw & Order\u201d episode.<\/p>\n

The \u201cDeception\u201d alum and Stevens, meanwhile, celebrated 22 years of marriage last October, with the latter sharing a sweet tribute via Instagram.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cToday my heart is full \u2014 celebrating 22 years of love, laughter, and life with my best friend\u00a0@beastdaddyo\u00a0\u2764\ufe0f,\u201d she wrote alongside a photo of herself and Bryce.<\/p>\n

Stevens has yet to address her husband\u2019s death.<\/p>\n
