The Edmonton Elks have signed American defensive lineman Carmine Bastone, the team announced on Monday. He\u2019s been added to the practice roster.<\/p>\n
The six-foot-two, 300-pound defender played five collegiate seasons at Northwestern University, where he made 68 total tackles, nine tackles for loss, six sacks, and two forced fumbles over 39 games.<\/p>\n
The native of St. Charles, Ill. attended rookie minicamp with the Kansas City Chiefs and New York Jets after going unselected in the 2026 NFL Draft but didn\u2019t sign a contract with either team.<\/p>\n
