\u201cBachelorette\u201d alum Joe Amabile\u00a0revealed that doctors found what appears to be \u201can early-stage brain tumor\u201d after he underwent an MRI scan.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere was a blueberry-size lesion in my brain that looks to be a glioma, which is a tumor,\u201d the TV personality shared via Instagram<\/a> on Monday.<\/p>\n Looking downcast, Amabile revealed the next step is brain surgery \u2014 specifically a craniotomy \u2014 in two weeks to \u201cget it removed and get it tested, and then we\u2019re gonna go from there.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBachelorette\u201d alum Joe Amabile revealed via Instagram Monday that doctors recently found a \u201cblueberry-size lesion\u201d in his brain. Instagram\/Joe Amabile<\/p>\n Amabile (seen here in another screengrab) said it appears to be \u201can early-stage brain tumor.\u201d Instagram\/Joe Amabile<\/p>\n Amabile, 40, described the past couple of weeks as \u201cwild,\u201d admitting he \u201cdefinitely wasn\u2019t expecting this\u201d and \u201cnever\u201d thought he\u2019d be dealing with a cancer scare.<\/p>\n \u201cThey say it\u2019s really early stages,\u201d he added. \u201cI hope they are able to get it all and I\u2019m fine, but I will keep you updated.\u201d<\/p>\n In the caption, the Bachelor Nation alum told fans he\u2019s \u201cdoing [his] best to stay positive during this time and [is] lucky to have a lot of support from family and friends.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve gone back and forth about what I wanted to share on social media but ultimately this is now part of my life now, so might as well. Onto a new journey,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n The reality star (seen here in an Instagram upload from 2025) said he will undergo brain surgery in two weeks to remove the tumor and test it.
