Daveigh Chase had $400K in personal property, yet was living on the streets of Downtown Los Angeles<\/a> at the time of her death.<\/p>\n

The late actress, who starred in 2002\u2019s \u201cThe Ring\u201d and voiced the character Lilo in Disney\u2019s 2002 hit \u201cLilo & Stitch,\u201d died last month<\/a> at just 35 years old. Her mother, Cathy Chase, said the late actress left behind $400K in personal property in court docs obtained by Page Six Monday.<\/p>\n

Cathy is asking the court to appoint her as the administrator of Daveigh\u2019s estate.<\/p>\n

According to the docs, Cathy believes Daveigh\u2019s father,\u00a0John Schwallier, \u201cresides in the Philippines with an unknown address\u201d but also \u201ckeeps properties\u201d in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

Daveigh\u2019s primary cause of death is listed as acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS)<\/a> in the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner report obtained by Page Six last month.<\/p>\n

Also listed is chronic polysubstance use, which is the use of more than one drug in a short period of time, according to the Cleveland Clinic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The former child star had no children and was never married. But her alleged boyfriend, Roy Hernandez, created a GoFundMe campaign<\/a> to help her \u201cfind comfort and peace\u201d in her final days before her death.<\/p>\n

\u201cDaveigh Chase, my girlfriend, has always been a light in my life. Many people know her as a talented childhood actor from \u2018Lilo & Stitch,\u2019 \u2018Spirited Away,\u2019 and \u2018Donnie Darko.\u2019 But behind the scenes, she\u2019s faced more than her share of hardship,\u201d Hernandez shared in\u00a0the online campaign.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter a difficult childhood and a painful falling out with her family, Daveigh was bullied and struggled to find safety and happiness in downtown LA. When we met, I promised to protect her and give her the love and comfort she deserved. Together, we found moments of happiness and hope.\u201d<\/p>\n

But Daveigh\u2019s former manager, John Ryan, later urged fans not to donate to Hernandez\u2019s GoFundMe<\/a> after it went viral.<\/p>\n

\u201cApparently, a man claiming to be her\u00a0\u2018boyfriend\u2019 that none of us friends or her family has heard of has\u00a0set up a GoFundMe on \u2018her and her\u00a0families behalf\u2019 that he set her up as\u00a0the organizer,\u201d Ryan\u00a0told The Post.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can confirm Daveigh has a trust account set up at SAG to cover all costs,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Ryan, who managed the late actress for more than a decade, also claimed she had \u201cmillions\u201d in unclaimed residual checks at the time of her death.<\/p>\n

Despite apparently leaving behind $400K in private property and \u201cmillions\u201d in unclaimed residual checks, as her former manager, John Ryan, claimed, Daveigh was seen looking extremely skinny and barely conscious living on the streets of Los Angeles\u2019 notorious skid row in video obtained by The Post last month (a still of which is seen above). In a disturbing clip\u00a0obtained exclusively by The Post last month, Daveigh can be seen looking extremely skinny and barely conscious on the floor of a tent or trailer in LA\u2019s notorious skid row.<\/p>\n

Ryan told the outlet that he and her stepsister Gaia Brown had enlisted the help of a private investigator in 2025 to track her down and get her some help, but after he was able to speak to Daveigh on the phone, she \u201cdisappeared\u201d again.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were so close to finding her,\u201d he told The Post. \u201cDaveigh was the sweetest and brightest light in Hollywood. I can\u2019t believe this is real.\u00a0Her legacy and work will live on forever<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n
