Justin Baldoni challenged Blake Lively\u2019s latest legal request, days after breaking his silence<\/a> on their ongoing court battle<\/a>.<\/p>\n On Monday, the actor submitted a filing dubbing his \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d co-star\u2019s demand for legal fees<\/a> \u201cexcessive\u201d \u2014 and requesting a judge reduce it.<\/p>\n Justin Baldoni (pictured above in January 2024) hit back at Blake Lively\u2019s request for legal fees in a filing on Monday. GC Images<\/p>\n The actor (pictured above in May 2023) claimed his \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d co-star\u2019s demand was \u201cexcessive.\u201d GC Images<\/p>\n The filing, obtained by Page Six on Tuesday, claimed that \u201cthe most cursory review of Lively\u2019s submission shows multiple lawyers at the same hearings, numerous charges for lawyers conferencing, conferring or strategizing with one another, and to put it mildly, extremely excessive research and online investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n Baldoni\u2019s legal team went on to call Lively\u2019s request for $8 million \u201canything but a typical fee motion.\u201d<\/p>\n Lively asked in June to be awarded $7,495,526.87 in attorneys\u2019 fees and $539,514.01 in litigation costs and expenses.<\/p>\n Last month, the \u201cGossip Girl\u201d alum (pictured above on May 19) asked to be awarded $7,495,526.87 in attorneys\u2019 fees and $539,514.01 in litigation costs and expenses.
