In contrast, return trips from the United States by air in June decreased\u00a03.8% from June\u00a02025.<\/p>\n<p>Canadian-resident return trips from overseas countries by air totalled\u00a0873,200\u00a0in June\u00a02026, a slight decrease (-0.4%) from the same month one year earlier.<\/p>\n<p>US-resident trips to Canada increased\u00a05.1% in June, reaching\u00a02.2\u00a0million. This marked the fifth consecutive month of year-over-year increase.<\/p>\n<p>In June,\u00a0US\u00a0residents made\u00a01.5\u00a0million trips to Canada by automobile (+7.6%) and\u00a0663,900\u00a0trips by air (-0.3%).<\/p>\n<p>Overseas-resident trips to Canada were up\u00a05.1% in June\u00a02026\u00a0from the same month one year earlier.
