The storms were expected to move into central Alberta, reaching Edmonton in the evening.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The department warned that damage to roofs and trees could be possible. If you find yourself caught in severe weather, find cover in a basement or interior room; if you&#8217;re outside, seek shelter immediately.
