The store page doesn\u2019t share any more information about it, but perhaps the orb is the \u201cPixel Glow\u201d light feature that has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/tech\/913623\/a-new-android-17-beta-reveals-plans-for-pixel-glow-light-animations\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">popped up in Android 17 betas<\/a>. If I had to guess, the orb will likely have something to do with Google\u2019s Gemini AI.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">We probably won\u2019t have to wait too much longer to learn what the orb is all about. Google has announced an August 12th launch event <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/tech\/962313\/made-by-google-pixel-11-launch-event\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">for new Pixel hardware<\/a>, and the teaser for that announcement also featured a look at the Pixel 11 \u2014 though without the glowing orb.
