She tells us that acting wasn\u2019t part of her original plan; being a folk artiste was.\u201cI did my master\u2019s in Kuchipudi; I\u2019m doing a PhD in it, and I also teach it. Once I entered the Telangana folk industry, my songs went viral, and I started getting film offers. I didn\u2019t initially think of getting into films. But I thought, I\u2019d give it a try. Even Magesh sir ( Love Oh Love \u2019s director) approached me after seeing one of my reels,\u201d she begins.Speaking about her Tamil debut, the actress shares, \u201cAvantika, my character in the film, is a bubbly Gen Z girl who seeks love in her life. In real life, though, I\u2019m Gen Z who\u2019s old school.\u201dAdmitting that the biggest challenge she faced here was language-related, the actress says, \u201cI was nervous because I didn\u2019t know Tamil. I\u2019ve only watched Telugu-dubbed Tamil films. Now, I understand Tamil, but can\u2019t speak it fluently.\u201d Sharing that she got the script in Tanglish, Naga Durga says, \u201cI\u2019m the kind of person who wants to say the dialogue exactly the way it\u2019s intended and I prepare so much to get it right.\u201dShe says the support from her costars helped calm her nerves. \u201cInitially, I had to take many retakes, and I kept wondering what my co-artistes would think. When I had a scene with Vanitha (Vijayakumar), Pavish, and Selvaraghavan sir, I got nervous. But they were supportive and said, \u2018It\u2019s OK. Take your time.\u2019 All of them, along with KS Ravikumar sir, knew Telugu, so they made me feel comfortable. Also, Pavish is very down-to-earth.
